In 2004, looking to transition to a slower pace of life, Colleen, Doug and our four year old son, Josh, moved from the suburbs of California to a small farm in North Carolina. Relocating from one coast to another and only having a few family members nearby, was challenging, but well worth it.  After several years of adapting to our environment, returning to college and changing careers, Colleen and Doug have returned to the show ring.  Obedience, confirmation and agility matches is where we spend our free time. 

Prior to moving, Colleen was in the veterinary field; she bred and trained Australian Shepherds.  Participating in AKC and ASCA, she received dual championships with her blue merle, PIP. Returning to her passion with dogs, she is an advocate for quality breeding, genetics, eyes and hips are screened.

Josh is now in his twenties and is studying to be an Electrical Engineer, but helps at the ranch regularly. He has grown up and cared for all our dogs, but he and Gianni are best buddies. He is also the technology guy and maintains our website and social media.

Doug is the utility member of the family, driver, shopper, dog walker, puppy petter and pooper scooper.
