Shelter Dog Swim Day Recap

This past Saturday, Sliding G Ranch had the pleasure of hosting Shelter Dog Swim Day in collaboration with the Wake County Animal Center. It was an incredible day filled with happy tails, splashes, and meaningful connections between dogs and potential adopters.

The event created a relaxed environment where each dog’s personality could shine. With pup cups, interactive activities, and plenty of time for one-on-one interaction, visitors were able to truly get to know the dogs in a fun and low-pressure setting.

A huge part of what made the day so successful was the work of the Wake County Animal Center team. Their volunteers brought great energy and organization to the event, and their attention to safety and full compliance with our waivers and procedures helped everything run smoothly from beginning to end.

We’re excited to share that there have already been discussions around two potential adoptions as a direct result of the event. That is exactly why opportunities like this matter.

At Sliding G Ranch, we are committed to supporting initiatives that bring people and dogs together! For any dogs adopted as a result of this event, we will be providing vouchers so they can return to the pool and continue being part of the community in their new homes.

We truly appreciate the partnership with the Wake County Animal Center and look forward to continuing to support events like this in the future.
