Service Description

This advanced, competition-focused class is designed for experienced dock diving teams actively training for Distance and Air Retrieve events. Dogs must be confident, powerful jumpers with strong bumper drive and reliable dock entries and exits. Training emphasizes maximizing distance and height through precision approach work, controlled speed, optimal launch timing, and correct body mechanics. Teams will train using competition-style equipment including distance markers, stride regulators, and Air/Vertical Retrieve setups to simulate real event conditions. Handlers will receive individualized coaching on bumper placement, release timing, handling cues, and ring-ready routines to improve consistency and performance under pressure. Sessions also incorporate conditioning and injury-prevention principles to support safe, sustainable progression at higher levels of competition. This class is ideal for teams preparing for IDS, UKC, NADD, or similar dock diving events and for dogs looking to advance divisions, increase personal bests, and compete with confidence.
