The UKC Conformation Dog Show recently gathered some of the finest canine athletes, showcasing their beauty, poise, and training. Our SGR team was among the standout participants, making a remarkable impression. Let's explore the exciting moments and achievements of SGR's competitors: Mike, Matteo, Nico, LuLu, and Sal.
SGR’s They Call Me Mike! "MIKE"
Mike began the competition with an impressive display of confidence and grace for a nine-month-old pup. His sleek coat and perfect stance immediately caught the judges’ attention. In a strong lineup of Labrador Retrievers, Mike showed four times in the Bred by Class, earning 3 Best of Winners, 3 Best Male, 2 Best of Breed, and 1 Group 3. He achieved 3 competition wins and a UKC Championship on his first outing. We are ecstatic about this boy’s future!

SGR'S FREE ANY JOE "MATTEO"
Next, Matteo’s gait was smooth and balanced, reflecting hours of practice and conditioning. The judges praised his well-proportioned body and alert expression, perfectly matching the breed’s ideal characteristics.
Matteo showed in the Grand Champion class and won his class 3 times, along with a Best of Breed and a Group 2 win.

SGR IN THEE LIMELIGHT "NICO"
Nico brought a burst of energy and charm to the ring. His lively personality and engaging presence made him a crowd favorite. Nico showcased his strengths, including his strong bone structure and expressive eyes.
Nico was entered in the puppy class, winning all of his classes, with 1 Best Winners, 1 Best Male, and one competition win. Nico’s charisma, combined with solid conformation, proved to be a winning combination. We are excited about this boy’s future!

RINOMATA GUERRIERA OF SGR "LuLu"
LuLu's vibrant personality and her ability to charm everyone she meets were evident. She was shown in the Champion Class, winning 1 of the 4 classes and being reserved in 3 of the classes. The judges noted her clean lines and well-defined musculature, essential for top placements in conformation shows.
LuLu will return to training for field work and Dock Diving, where she excels!

SGR'S SALVATORE MUNDI "SAL"
Sal closed the show with a confident presentation. His muscular build and alert stance made a strong impression. Despite not receiving any wins in the Champion class, we still took the best dog home with us!
Sal will return to training for field work and Dock Diving, where he excels alongside his sister, "LuLu".
